Bangalore : Biergarten, Whitefield

Processed with MOLDIV

We had originally wanted to go to Windmill Craftworks for Sunday lunch, but since they were all full, our next best option for a Brewery lead us to Biergarten.
It is said, whatever happens, happens for good; couldn’t be more truer in this case.

We had a wonderful lunch, everything we had in food was absolutely delicious and I had the best ever Wheat Beer served in Bangalore, perfectly chilled!

Location : Its adjacent to Oliver’s Pizza. Best to use Google Maps. Its quite inside and hence can get difficult to find it.

Ambiance : Pictures can be deceiving, the photos I saw here on Zomato portrayed a massive place. It surely is fairly massive and has a very modern and chic cafe like feel but much less than what I had expected from the Photos. It has two levels, one on ground and one on first. Ground has further two sections, one quite a small Indoor AC section with 3 big tables and rest is all open air. Since it was quite hot and we had our baby, we decided to sit inside.

When weather gets better, its gonna be a treat to sit outside and sip their beers!

Parking : Valet.

Service and Staff : Quick and friendly. Inside the AC was too strong and we requested it to be turned down. Staff said its a central AC and hence unfortunately he cant do anything, but he said he can keep the door open. Which did helped considerably.

Crowd : Surprisingly a lot of family crowd apart from usual singles, couples, etc

Food : What all we ordered in Veg –

Spinach & Cheese Filo Parcels (Rs.245)
Excellent beginning. Outer coating was super crisp and thin. Inside it had a filling of Spinach and Cheese. Very innovative, different and delicious!

Spicy Corn Macaire (Rs. 245)
This was like Tikkis. Very delicious. Outside was crisp and inside quite soft and fluffy.

Crispy Veg Cheese Burger (Rs. 350)
Huge burger, came with excellent crisp fries. The Patty was very good, full of cheese and other flavors.

Pine Passion (Rs. 195)
Mocktail, decent.

Beer Sampler (Rs. 40 each)
I had called for two samples, one wheat and one lager. Frankly, I was unable to decide as both were very similar. I went for Wheat beer just out of instinct. Wish the samples were more chilled to get an accurate taste.

Wheat Beer (Rs. 275 for 500 ML)
It was a good call to go for the Wheat Beer. By far the best ever Wheat Beer I have had in Bangalore. It was chilled to perfection and served in a tall glass.

Processed with MOLDIV

We were totally full and hence skipped desserts.

Total Tab – Rs. 1700 ai

Pricing is a tad expensive, a good 10-15% less would have been appropriate.

Overall it was a perfect Sunday lunch. We had a very good time and rarely a place gets everything right like this one.

Should you visit? Absolutely!
